Traffic Exchanges date back to the beginning of the web and were primarily used by organizations to share sites between employees. Viewers would rate pages in a similar fashion to the now popular social bookmarking phenomenon. When interesting websites were hard to find a traffic exchange for an organisation new to the web proved an invaluable tool.

Circa 1994 traffic exchanges moved from corporate intranets to the web. In an effort to build communities the concept of rating pages was replaced with rewarding members for viewing.

It was 1996 before traffic exchanges began to charge for traffic and around this time the concept changed from a tool for locating interesting sites to a commercial one. This change in direction resulted in increased popularity at the expense of the content which is now almost exclusively commerce

Here is just something to think about.

Do You remember the "GOLDEN RULE"?
"do unto others as you would have them do unto you"

Gurus have built a list of people they use and they make a lot of money. When they first start out, they treated people the right way, then they hired staff to do the same. We rarely talk with the guru themselves. So we all use people to achieve success in form or another.

I know people that I can say, do follow the rule and others that only say they do, but really don't.

My opinion is that the ones that say they follow the rule, and don't, are seeking success by using people as stepping stones with no regards for the people being used. They most like will achieve success, but, will be short lived with some rewards.

The people that truly follow the rule, use people too, but in a friendly caring manner, and they treat those people with dignity and respect. They will achieve long lived success with an abundance of rewards. They have followers, not just names.

My favorite saying is "what goes around, comes around"
Just another way of saying the golden rule.

Internet Marketing can be very exciting,
a business with results every step of the way,

from the vendor or those with whom you

Wild Global Thoughts

Waking up in the morning is really another experience.
the mind comes alive, well that is my perception.
The thoughts start flowing and discussion from the
previous day and topics discussed and read come to
the fore.
In a matter of minutes lets call it 17 minutes this
morning, my thoughts ran rampant.
Are you similar in this way?

My thoughts in a space of nano seconds:

• G20 summit, gate crashed by 115 other nations - will catch it on SkyNews it is barron on this subject, lets hope they focus on the loss of life in Afghanistan
  
• full moon here in london, it comes around fast
  
• weather in 2209 - YES! it was discussed at G20 summit, predicting the global weather for occassions - planning a wedding, day at beach or a farmers harvest
• glaciers melting - five in Kenya have done so -will I ever get to see or walk
  on a major glacier?
  
• rugby - a running and gym friend from Constantia, Cape Town
  Jake White has been invited to sit on the IRB - International Rugby board. Oh! Jake the South African World Cup winning coach is now coaching the South African - Golden
  Lions team - grind a win over the Vodacom Blue Bulls last weekend OUCH!- YES! he won Jake Whites team BEAT THE VODACOM BLUE BULLS
  
• Tooth ache, a friend is currently inflicted with this pain - IT IS SORE! my thought went to my lost teeth, tooth care and then the expense of implants. His face is so swollen -living in agony while he waits for Kingston Hospital to OK an extraction - waiting can be a bitch
  
• Back to the G20 and the hangers on, where many will be trying to voice their opinion when it comes to the meaningless discussion revolvingaround the control of bankers bonuses and salaries.
  Gosh! how will this get resolved - let me ask! - Will these Government officials give
  back their incomes or bonus from the previous year when they kicked out of
  office - will Tiger Woods or David Beckman give back their earnings on the
  last game which they may have won, when they lose the next? As much as we
  don't like our banks being exposed, we do like it when they give us the returns
  
• all of us expect returns on our investment accounts (maybe it is disappointment that fuels this outrage) - these lads at the G20 may as well have spent their time
  discussing revaluation of certain countries currency and the effect the current
  IMF (International Monetary Funds) handouts/ allocations to the poorer nations of the world(ZIMBABAWE will Robert enjoy them) will have to their back yards. OH Yeah! there is always something, some reason for an action by "BIG BROTHER" is that what we going to be calling the IMF,
  as China, Brazil and Russia all eyeing IMF Treasury Bonds, is this a way
  of introducing the new global currency or NEW WORLD ORDER.
  
• Then talk about movies - District 9 or is that a converted six from District 6 - who knows what the directors intention was when taking into account the countries history - South Africa
  

Folks these are a few thoughts that run through our fantastic minds
within the space of nano seconds. It is a handful to cope with during a day.

Suggestions to overcome these wild thoughts:
head off in the bush for quite time,
exercise as it helps,
go fishing, sailing (learn about a master), playing, cycling or watching sport(check this photo out) whilst others get focused on overcoming the financial crisis in your family
send good thoughts to your family (the universe will delvier it)
visit the family

While you about it, spare a thought for those around
the world who may be having a tough time -
even your neighbour - then on the other hand,
enjoy their good times as well.

There will be those gardeners out there that will
be making a difference on our carbon footprint
but keep the cycle of life going round and round.
The bees in the UK, need all the natural vegetation
to make it happen for us in the years to come -
they crucial to our way of lives folks,

Shoo! my mind really does cover a vast expanse
of thought within the first hour of waking up.

What better way to close this train of thought
than to say what ever it is you plan to do today,
HAVE FUN AT IT! kick back and relax, let the
Angels show you the way forward - go with your gut.
Forget about all our the spam in your email inbox
and issues, CHILL BABY for those who have bank
holidays on Monday GO HUGE! have a magnificent
weekend with the family.

What will I be doing;
Visiting my cousin Peg, watching the Springboks play in Brisbane,
Austrlia, working on my business (advertising side of it) - tidying up - of course I have already
done the ironing and put the washing on - AM I A MANNANNY?

Is your mind over heating

Yes! second posting - suggestions accepted from the analytical readers
Talk about stress, everyone is talking about stress
now days. People seem to put the least difficult
sistuation or incident which proves difficult down to
stress. Was watching the Michael Jackson funeral
this morning on Sky TV at gym and it amazes
me how people can inflict or put themselves under
so much stress.

Is this a symptom of our modern email way of thinking and
due to the speed in which the world is evolving with
the internet data that we inflict our bodies and minds to
unnecessary stress and worry. Do you ever manage
to quiten your mind - many people and experts
in the world tend to say we should quiten our minds,
Doreen Virtue and Deepak Chopra and many others.
Read somewhere a while back that we should just
sit in silence with others. Is this wise, do any of us
have the patience to actually sit in silence and stop
our brains from literally over heating.

What is it about this world or ours or about us
that sometimes it is just so difficult to go
with the flow(know yourself first),
we sort of have to login into each day
as we awake. YES! I have come back to this going
with the flow. Maybe we should all learn from nature
and notice how it goes with the flow. Peter Lawson,
yes, my Pops, he sent me a note a while back,
reminding me about how the birds lose young ones,
have their nests detroyed and they shake it off and
get back to laying more eggs and building new nests.
Shoo! it was a mind blower for me. Maybe we all need
to take that time out each day and have quite time.
Create a little space in our busy schedules to find
that spot where we can "just chill" in one form or
another, to bring order in our lives.

With all the headlines coming our way on topics we interested
in and on the issues that affect our day to day lives, this
will certainly be a challenge for most of us. In many instances
the recuring head lines themselves is a form of in doctrination
which we are not aware of. Sure there must be stats on
what messages we get made aware of on a daily basis, that
is for a whole new discussion

In closing, a reminder that whislt the stress is all around
us we should always take time out to think first before we
act, take a breath. Tell those close to us we care and love
them. Put a smile on their faces. Maybe, tell the world
how we feel about them then they too may get de-stressed
and they too may quiten their minds.

To all my friends and suppporters that
go back over the years - thank you
and welcome to my life with a
difference. Many people think
I am stark raving mad to be entering
into a field such as internet marketing.
But HEY! with the personality I have and
the constant need to want to help someone
I am finding that this is a way to teach a person
to fish and make a sustainable living.

However, I do have to agree with many of you
it is a mind blowing experience - trying to make
you don't get caught up in a spending spree
on all the wonderful promises that come along.

Needless to say this was not my problem.
As my name "earningagain" now suggests
this is all about getting people earning again.
This has been an eye opening experience
filled with fun.

What is great is that each step of the way you learn.
First lesson: KEEP you credit card in your wallet.
Second lesson: STOP before you input your name
and email address - get referred and learn.

There are tons of promises out there but very
few who turn in the goods.

Right now I ask you all to join me on this journey
by reading my bloggs and giving input. This journey is
also about the marketing of friends websites. Friends
and family who have great products which the world
should hear about. Yes! there will be times when I
market and refer to your product in discussion and
will link you to the sites. Thats is where you will be
able to read obout their business and the products
they are marketing.

Now these are just a few examples ojn how I see this blogg and
my suggestions working. It will evolve and one day I will look
back and smile. This will also happen with each of the people
